This excellent step-by-step walk-thru of Scott Whigham's Stored Procedure video is the second video in a series of 3. This is an excellent addition to this series that teaches us about an extremely complex stored procedure in non-technical explained terminology. A few of the highlights but definitely not limited to are as follows:
  • Introduction to properly declared variables
  • TSQL IF and ELSE statements
  • TIMEOUT Statement
  • WAITFOR Statement
  • Basic introduction to xpath and xquery
This whole video is dedicated to the masterfully written stored procedure. This is an advanced video therefore is perfect for the intermediate to advanced SQL SERVER users. You will need to know about TSQL in order to follow a lot of this video. If you do not know about TSQL, you can learn TSQL at TSQL Training.

NOTE: This video's description was written by one of our members, Wayne Leiser. Thanks, Wayne!
