Performance Monitor (also called System Monitor and perfmon) is a great tool used to track various processes on the system and to give an ad-hoc display of the current state of the system. Perfmon is a very flexible tool allowing you to monitor memory, CPU, hard drive statistics as well as individual application statistics like how much memory your SQL Server is using.
Helpful Keyboard Shortcuts: "CTRL" + "Page Up" navigates forward between panes/worksheets/tabs in an application (use "Page Down" to navigate backwards)
